I've been inspired to work work a new material for clothing...latex. Kinky, I know. There have been some ups and downs, but altogether it's been pretty fun. 'Cept I smell like a condom every time I've been working with the stuff.I started with this shirt: Usually when you see fashion latex, it's very shiny. But I really don't have any of the polishy stuff and I can't afford it now, so a dull sheen it shall be. I also made this bandeau top (with Latex Love by Vice Squad as my background music. It came on random.): I look like I've been censored. Also, I'm sure I'm not the only person here who follows Threadbanger. A little while ago they did an episode on knitting, and made a knitted bikini top. I found this ridiculously exciting, so I gave it a shot. I'm still a beginner at knitting, so it came out a bit tight and sort of curls, but it's actually wearable. Sorta. I also studded it...cause I guess that's just what I do. The video tutorial is here: www.threadbanger.com/tb-projects/episode/THR_20090612i18.photobucket.com/albums/b111/tubmurder_icons/DSC00800.jpg[/img]Sorry, I know posting mostly topless pictures of myself is kinda awkward. I was trying to keep it unsexy.

It's fun! Just it's kinda expensive. With shipping it was $20 for one square yard of latex. And the really good stuff comes from England and Germany...I don't even want to talk about the shipping from there... But if you want a really good start, go to www.makinglatexclothing.com. I got the tutorial for making the shirt from there, and they have a pattern for leggings and stuff. Check it out!
