and i finally got to upload my pictures over the past year and a lot of them were clothes i made and/or reconstructed. massive picture dump, sorry!
this was originally a man's dress shirt. i cut the top off right below the armpits and sewed on the blue fabric to the top and bottom and made straps for it.
this was originally a man's polo shirt. i basically did the same thing to it except for the fabric at the bottom.
this was something i made from scratch. i used my measurements mostly, but also went off the outline of another shirt i have. it wasn't originally supposed to look like that under the armpit, but i kept running into problems, but eh.
this was another one i did from scratch. (my first one, actually!) i used my measurements and used a tanktop i have to trace the outline for the racerback look.
another one done from scratch. i originally made it way too tight, which is why that orange piece is in the back exists, but i was really pleased with the way it turned out.
this was originally a man's polo shirt, too. i cut the top off right below the armpits and then used scrap fabric to do the front with.
you guys have already seen this one before, i think, but these are better pictures. definitely my most ambitious project so far.
too tight and too thin. it is now scrap fabric, heh.
this one might go into the scrap bin soon, too.
for the record, the neckline was meant to be off-center, but in the end it was turned into scrap fabric, too.
done from scratch. pretty boring looking, but it actually fits! it's a keeper.
i was going to make this into a nifty tanktop like the ones posted earlier on, but it's not stretchy at all and i didn't buy enough fabric. it will probably become scrap fabric.
all this stuff was done by hand, by the way. if only i had a working sewing machine!
