Sorry this is really short and stupid, but I do this all the time and figured I'd share.
They sell these little plastic things that clip to your bra straps in the back, pulling them together to make the girls perkier.
First of all, they're easy as all hell to make out of random plastic, I've seen that done (on PRD or Threadbanger or something, i don't remember). But if you're in even more of a fix and happen to have loose studs around, here's what I do:
Bend the posts of a stud inward (if you have the two-footed kind. Four footed, just tuck the extra posts in so they don't scratch you).
Hook one post on one bra strap, and the other on the second bra strap. Ta-da, hardcore perkiness. And it doesn't look as stupid if you just leave it showing as the little plastic thing does.
I'll take a picture if you guys don't get what I mean.

It sounds good but I'm picturing a lump in the back of the shirt from the stud. I think a picture would help.

This is more of a solution for when you know your straps are gonna show no matter what, or if you're having trouble keeping your tank top or dress straps up (a very frequent problem, in my case). I'm going to go do gymnastics to take a picture now, brb. ... Okay, I'm back. I think I'm getting more flexible every day. The stud. In use. Obviously, the thinner the strap the better this works. I've done this on party dresses, and no one questions it.

I thought I'd spread the love a little. Never heard of anyone doing it before, but it works in a pinch.
