I adapted this recipe from others...they mostly use corn syrup and call for various kinds of cereal from corn flakes to raisin bran. so much sugar but oh well.
1 C brown sugar 1 C white sugar a little less than 1/4 C water 3/4 C peanut butter (I think I used a little more) 2.5 C cereal (I used generic rice krispies)
combine brown sugar, white sugar, and water in a sauce pan until kind of syrupy...put over low heat, stirring constantly for 2 minutes. remove from heat and add peanut butter and cereal. separate in to little cookie sized things and put in fridge for an hour to cool.

they were so good! although after the first day, the rice krispies started to taste a little stale so eat them fast and/or share them!
