I got a sewing machine for Christmas!!!
I am so excited I could pee. I had a machine already but it was all wonky and I couldn't bring it with me when I moved to Indiana (didn't have room in the car). So now I've got a new lovely one!!
Did you all get anything good and crafty for Christmas?

Oh cool! I've been dieing for a new machine, mine's starting to go on me. I might take it in for a tune up soon.
I got a kitchenaid mixer and a yudu machine. I'm excited to try the yudu out, haven't gotten around to it yet.

Oooh! I got a Kitchenaid stand mixer a few years ago for Christmas and it is seriously the most amazing thing ever.

It made the absolute most amazing and fluffy mashed potatoes ever. Usually I'm all for making them by hand with a masher, but it kills my arm when it's a big batch. The batch I made fed 8 people 2 days in a row and still had some left over.

I don't think I got anything crafty, although I have a shitty memory haha... I did get some nifty kitchen things though, a Panini press and a blender thingy.. it reminds me of those Magic Bullet things on TV haha. Its pretty bitchin.

Well...I went to China and didn't have to pay a dime for it, except for buying stuff while I was there. That was a pretty sweet Xmas.
As well as a couple books, some clothes, and, craftily speaking, a bead and pearl set and a new knife <3 I'm hugely jealous of the Kitchenaid, though I know I'd never have the space for it here.

I'd kill for a new super sharp kitchen knife. I'm trying to talk some family into buying me new kitchen stuff right now actually.

I think the best present I ever got was a set of four santoku knives in different lengths for christmas last year. The ones we had were depressingly dull.

I used my $50 Michaels gift card to buy a set of circular knitting needles. Sizes 2-15, and all the lengths of cord. Amazing.
